The County of Sutter intends to award a contract which includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the replacement of the roof and all required flashing for the County Office Buildings located at 146 Garden Highway and 595 Boyd Street, Yuba City. The work includes the following: removal of existing roofing materials and flashing; removal of asbestos laden roofing materials (if encountered); replacement of damaged roof insulation / plywood; installing new flashing at parapet walls, HVAC curbs, skylights, penetrations, etc.; installing new connections to roof drains and overflow drains and scuppers; installing new composition shingle roofing system per the manufacturer’s recommendations; and installing new 2-ply modified bitumen roofing system per the manufacturer’s installation guidelines.
