The work to be accomplished includes the grading and repair of the landfill final cover system. Major work elements include clearing and excavating existing cover, placing general earth-fill to construct a foundation layer, installing a new cover liner, constructing an erosion resistant vegetative cover layer on top of the liner, removing an existing concrete storm water channel and replacing it with a reinforced concrete channel, and meeting all other requirements of the project as presented in the Construction Plans and Specifications Bonds required.
