The Gene Torres NTMP project consists of installing traffic circles along 4 intersections including improving the ADA accessibility, upgrading sidewalk and parkway. Bike lane and left turn lane signage and striping along Gene Torres from Pellicano to Vista Del Sol. The project also includes 3 medians; 2 medians along Gene Torres and 1 along Scott Simpson. Access to all properties must be provided during construction. Final surface must provide Ppositive sheet flow the end completion of project.Base Bid I consists of the demolition of the intersections Gene Torres at Scott Simpson & at Gene Torres at Jim Thorpe including: concrete curb & gutter (standard), sidewalks, ramps, existing landscaping, trees, and concrete parkway. Roadway improvements include mill and inlay, traffic circles, concrete sidewalks, 6” standard curb and gutter, 4” rolled curb, ADA ramps, proposed landscaping, and illumination. Traffic improvements include the removal of existing signs and installing new signs for traffic circles including new pavement striping. This base bid will include the left turn lane from Gene Torres to Henry Phipps. In addition, the transition median east of the intersection. Utility improvements consist one fire hydrant. Bonds required. Prevailing wages. HUB goals.
