The District is requesting solicitations for the removal and fabrication of radial gate trunnion blocks located at the Gila Headworks portion of Imperial Dam. This proposal addresses the tasks necessary to repair the trunnions, which are the cylindrical structural supports and ancillary components critical to the operation of the Gila Headworks gates. Design, installation and removal of a cofferdam system. Demolition and excavation of existing I-beam trunnion. Demolish and remove right/left embeds. Remove existing radial gates .Remove and dispose of wall plates and sill beams .Fabricate and install I-beam trunnion .Fabricate and install new right/left embeds .Fabricate and install new wall plates and sill beams .Install new gates .Perform water seal test. Contractor must hold valid licenses in both California and Arizona. Please see the invitation letter for acceptable licenses for this Work. Q&A due by 03/30/21 at 5PM. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
