Glades County is seeking engineering firms interested in providing professional services in connection with engineering design, permitting and construction management services for Glades County US27 Utility Corridor Infrastructure Sewer Service to East-side Sewer Addition, in Glades County, Florida. The Glades County Board of County Commissioners (“BoCC”) desires the installation of master lift station improvements located in the proximity of Sportsman Village RV WWTP and installation of a 10” forcemain west to the Caloosahatchee River, and performance of a 10” horizontal directional drill (HDD) west under the Caloosahatchee River to the west side of the river continuing on to the west to a point of connection to the CCPWA (Glades County/Moore Haven Public Works Authority) sewer collection/transmission system as referenced in the “Glades County US 27 Corridor Utility Study” at 8th St and US 27, all of which is generally referred to as the Project. Firms submitting must have expertise in sewer design, lift station design, design of gravity sewers, forcemain design, directional bore installations, permitting services, and construction engineering/inspection services. Proposers shall have all services available in-house or may propose multiple firms, which have joined together to provide the various required disciplinary services in order to offer a complete submission.
