Salt Lake City Corporation (the City), is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified suppliers to provide grade A chip seal, type II slag, and type II slurry sand. The City anticipates that it will enter into a contract with the selected supplier for a five-year term. Estimated annual usage: The anticipated quantity for purchase of Type II Slurry Sand is approximately 3,000 tons per year. The anticipated quantity for purchase for Grade A Chip Seal Aggregate is approximately 3,000 tons per year provided by the selected supplier on an as-needed basis. The anticipated quantity for purchase of type II slag on an as-needed basis is 500 tons per year. No guarantee of the actual product requirement is implied or expressed by this bid or the resulting agreement. Product requirements shall be determined by actual need.
