Lawn Maintenance. Turf Mowing. Cut grass to a height of no more than 3 ½ inches; Mow grass in a different direction each service call (e.g. 1st call horizontally, 2nd call vertically, etc.); Litter and debris shall be removed both before to prevent shedding that will damage turf appearance; and Mowing shall not be done when weather conditions will result in damaged turf. Turf Trimming. Trim grass along and around all obstacles and vertical surfaces in the turf (such as posts, trees, walls, etc.) to the same height as the adjacent turf is mowed. Turf Edging. Edge all turf edges in all areas including sidewalks, driveways, pavement areas, shrub and tree beds, and paver areas. Weeding. All landscaped areas shall be kept free of weeds upon each scheduled service call. A complete removal of all weed growth shall be accomplished on every call on a continuing basis; Weed out all growth in shrubs, tree beds and paver areas; Weed out all fence lines; Properly dispose of all weeds removed; and Weed preventers/killers shall be applied to pavers during each service call. All glyphosate based weed killers are strictly prohibited. The Project Manager has the right to approve or reject the use of said weed preventer/killer.
