This contract is for the installation and repair of damaged guardrail on various routes in Avery, Caldwell, and Watauga Counties upon request by the Engineer. The Engineer will designate maintenance and repair of guardrail at various locations in the counties. The contractor shall note that the amount of maintenance and/or repair of damaged guardrail throughout the county will vary on each route and should take this into consideration when submitting the bid.
