Fence replacement is to increase physical security at Hansen Way Substation located at 950 Hansen Way, and at Hanover Substation located at 3350 Hanover Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304. For Hansen Way, the fence line will be replaced, upgraded, and the west and southwest edges moved outward. For Hanover, the fence line will be replaced, upgraded, and the northeast-facing edge moved outward. Removals: 1.Remove 8’ chainlink and barbed wire fence with slats surrounding the substation. Additions: 2.Install 10’ tight mesh black vinyl coated, chainlink fence surrounding the substation per the fence specification and the drawings. Appropriate measures should be to secure fence perimeter in the interim between removal of the existing fence and installation of the new fence. Bonds required. Prevailing wages. Q&A due by 06/05/20 at 1PM.
