Purpose :Plant No. 2 has six (6) 12KV diesel driven generators. Four located in EPSA Standby Power Facility and two are in the Headworks Standby facility. Perform load bank test and make necessary tuning, ensuring generator load share as designed.Contractor shall utilize the following equipment at no additional cost to OC San: One (1) 5MVA transformer, medium voltage cable, low voltage cable and 5MVA reactive load bank. The Contractor shall perform 4-hour load bank testing each of six (6) 2MW, 12KV generator sets: 3 sets at EPSA and 3 sets at HEADWORKS power plants. Perform four-hour load bank test. (Step up load at 25% for the first two hours, increasing at 25% increments, then run at full load 100% for the last two hours). Load bank testing to be completed per unit one unit per day. Fourth day run units in parallel for four hours to also include: Observe generator performance, note engine data when loaded. Extract oil, coolant, and fuel and provide test analysis for each of the six units at no additional cost to OC San. EPSA Standby Facility – Utilize load bank to troubleshoot the issue of the generators experiencing load sharing issues utilizing reactive loading with the system in parallel Q&A due by 04/23/21 at 2PM.
