The City of San Antonio’s Public Works Department is seeking proposals for firms to provide construction services for the Hemisfair Civic Park Project. This construction project includes, but is not limited to, the construction of sidewalks, plazas, gardens, open lawns, ramps, retaining walls, custom metal work including handrails, stone fabrication via Computer Numerical Control (CNC), multiple water features throughout the park, structural soils systems, paving systems, electrical infrastructure and park lighting systems, plumbing infrastructure including water capture, reuse and filtration systems, plumbing work and fixtures, grading and drainage, construction of a stand-alone multi-purpose/restroom building, tree and shrub planting, grass planting, irrigation systems, park furniture installation, and any other work required for the completion of the project as designed in the project plans and specifications. Additionally, six (6) deductive alternates and four (4) additive alternates are also being proposed. This is an 18 month construction contract (540 calendar days). Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
