The project consists of the following major items of construction: Complete demolition and removal of all existing pump station equipment and appurtenances, except the existing wet well. The existing wet well will be cleaned and prepared for construction. Construct completely functional pump station by integrating pre-ordered equipment and new equipment. Pre-ordered equipment includes submersible pumps, pump drives, level controls, pump disconnect panel, pre-assembled valve vault, telemetry unit, and appurtenances. Procure all other materials needed for a completely functional pump station. The improvements will require construction of a new control panel that will integrate pre-ordered controls hardware. A new wet well lid, reinforced concrete slab, and a small CMU structure for mounting of electrical and controls equipment shall be constructed as part of this project. A new flow meter and vault must be constructed and integrated to the overall pump station system. Bypass pumping will not be required for this project.
