The project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete construction of the Hill Street Extension Project in accordance with the project plans and specifications. This includes, but is not limited to, the following key tasks: A. Perform earthwork to prepare the site for construction of right of way street improvements. B. Install a new culvert. C. Install natural gas utilities. D. Construct new concrete curb and gutter, valley pans, sidewalk, curb ramps, and approaches. E. Reconstruct roadway base and paving with hot mix asphalt. F. Place decorative rock and weed barrier fabric in boulevard areas. G. Install new signage and striping. H. Coordinate project surveying and stakeout. This work is to be paid directly by the City and coordinated by the contractor. I. Implement stormwater management (including preparation of a stormwater management plan and completion of a stormwater construction permit with CDPHE), traffic control (minor – as needed), site security, site restoration, final grading, and quality control testing as necessary to complete the work in accordance with the project plans and specifications. The deadline for receipt of questions from Bidders in regards to this RFP is 12:00 noon on December 15, 2021.
