The State of California, California Science Center, requires the services of a Contractor to provide stabilization services for the A-12 Blackbird aircraft. These services are needed to address areas of deterioration, including corrosion and water leaks, and to arrest further deterioration to preserve the historic A-12 aircraft. The contract is tentatively scheduled to commence on June 30, 2022 (or upon DGS OLS Approval), and end June 29, 2023. Any changes to the period of performance must be done as a written Amendment to the Agreement by the California Science Center. n. Contractor shall be required to provide proof that they are knowledgeable conservator with expertise in aerospace artifact preservation by submitting graduate degree(s) in conservation or historic preservation, membership of the American Institute for Conservation at the Professional Associate or Fellow level, and/or any other documentation supporting expertise. Questions due 6/6/22. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
