The City of Tallahassee has removed Hopkins Unit 1 from service. Unit 1 is a conventional Westinghouse 80 MW steam-generating unit. The City is seeking proposals for the demolition and removal of the concrete and brick stack and fiberglass cooling tower that are no longer in service. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
