The work shall consist of, but not limited to, abandonment / decommissioning of 30 residential septic tanks, installation of 30 low-pressure sewer pump systems, connection of each residential site to the low pressure sewer pump system, connection of each system to central sewer, gravity service tie-ins from existing homes to the low-pressure sewer pump system, all required electrical/control connections and upgrades, directional drilling, trench restoration, placement of temporary soil erosion and pollution control, maintenance of traffic, and placement of sod on all disturbed areas. The project is being funded through A Cost-Share Agreement between St. Johns River Water Management District and Putnam County under Contract #36925. This bid requires that the Prime Contractor and/or sub-contractor must have successfully completed a minimum of 20 individual sewer connections (septic tank abandonment included for each connection) where low pressure system grinder pump systems were required, possess a current valid Certified Plumbing Contractor’s License, Underground Utility and Excavation License, Electrical Contractor’s License, and be able to demonstrate their ability to complete 30 sewer connections and septic tank abandonments in 6 months. The primary contractor must perform 40% of the work. Project completion date: 12/21/2022 (180 days from pre-construction meeting/receipt of notice to proceed).
