The purpose of this solicitation is to establish licensed mechanical contractors (Contractor), who has been in business for a minimum of five (5) consecutive years, for the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) installation, repair, and replacement services “as needed” for the installation and repair of HVAC Variable Frequency Drives throughout School Board of Seminole County (SBSC) facilities. The Contractor shall furnish/supply all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and complete mechanical repair service, replacements, and installations as stated herein. Pricing shall be submitted on the pricing sheet attached to this document and shall be in the form of bid line-item prices, standard, afterhours hourly rates, as well as a cost percentage discount from list price for any materials required to be supplied by the successful bidder. Permits and licenses for chemicals and refrigerant are required by regulatory agencies in compliance with the Florida Mechanical Building Codes current edition, EPA, and OSHA. This is an indefinite quantity contract with no guarantee of a volume of services that may be required. The SBSC does not guarantee a minimum or maximum dollar amount to be expended on any contract resulting from this procurement item. The SBSC reserves the right to make awards on a lowest price basis by individual item, group of items, all or none, or a combination; with one or more Vendors; to reject all offers or waive any minor irregularity or technicality in bids received; it is anticipated that this bid with be awarded to three (3) Vendors who are lowest and most responsive bidders.
