The project consists of clearing the existing Peru Park (24th Street and Central Avenue Street) and constructing the new improvements for a new spray ground and 5-12 - year old playgrounds in the park. Clearing site work includes but is not limited to the removal of existing spray toys, safety surfaces, spray ground base course existing curbs stoop, handy camp ramp and concrete sidewalks. Proposed work includes construction and installation of new' Rain Drop' sprayground features and equipment , or approved equal, installation of new 'Columbia Cascade' 5-12-year old playground equipment, or approved equal, new playground safety surfaces, piping & valves, new reinforced concrete base course and new aquatic playground safety surfacing for the sprayground area, a new water fountain and all electrical and plumbing improvements. Work also includes installation of decorative fence and gate, granite block curbs, drainage improvements, a new ADA handy cap ramp and stoop The contractor shall have ninety (90) calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed to complete all work.
