This project consists of performing all the following work on the east wall of the IPD Building: North Fire Escape: lead based paint removal from steel staircase structure, followed by removal of identified deteriorated/corroded fire escape steel sections components, and replacement of corroded components. South Fire Escape: complete staircase structure removal from building and necessary repair work and patching on structural connection removal areas and blocking up an existing exterior door. The work under this contract shall be complete 60 calendar days after the date fixed in the notice to proceed. The work shall be ready for final payment within 30 calendar days after the work completion deadline. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
