Notice is hereby given that the City of Wilton Manors is accepting sealed bids for a project known and identified as Jenada Isles Utility Improvement Project. The City seeks qualified contractor licensed by the State of Florida with a specility working in trenchless pipe-bursting technology as described in this Invitation to Bid (ITB). The City of Wilton Manors, Florida (City) seeks qualified contractor licensed by the State of Florida with a specility working in trenchless pipe-bursting technology as described in this Invitation to Bid (ITB). The scope of this project includes the replacement of existing water mains within the Jenada Isles neighborhood and the replacement of the existing sanitary force mains from Lift Station # 2 and from Lift Station # 12 within the City of Wilton Manors. The project includes the repacement of approximately 4,000 linear feet of water main along with the replacement of existing water services, water meters, water meter boxes, valves, and fire hydrants within the project limits along with all necessary restoration. The water main replacement shall be completed by primarily using pre chlorinated pipe bursting construction methods along with a limited sement to be replaced using horizontal directional drill construction methods. The project also includes the replacement of approximately 400 linear feet of sanitary force main and associated valves and connections, which shall be installed using horizontal directional drilling construction methods. The contractor must be qualified to complete prechlorinated pipe bursting work and horizontal directional drilling work within the State of Florida.
