The pre-bid meeting is optional and is being held via skype conference call 972-941-5885 conference code 2729050. There are two Mandatory site visits scheduled. Site visits will come & go from 9:00 am to 11:30 am at City of Plano Joint Use Facility-Police Substation (North Substation), 7501 A Independence Parkway, Plano TX 75025. Site Visit 1 - April 13th. Site visit 2 - April 19th.

The City of Plano is accepting Competitive Sealed Proposals for the Renovation of the Police Area in the Joint Use Facility located at 7501-A Independence Parkway, Plano, Texas 75025. The project consists of approximately 2,600 square feet of major renovation and approximately 10,200 square feet of minor renovation. Some areas of minor renovation will be occupied for much of the project. The major renovated area consist of removal of all finishes, the floor slab, removal of some sub-grade soil, installing a micro pile system to support a new slab on void floor system. The major renovated area includes replacing the finishes and systems in the existing locker rooms and briefing area. The areas of minor renovation include renovation of finishes and some systems in office areas. Trades utilized may be: demolition, micro piles, concrete, framing, carpentry, cabinetry, waterproofing, doors, frames, door hardware, drywall, ceramic tile, suspended ceilings, resilient flooring, carpet tile, painting, signage, toilet compartments, toilet accessories, AED’s, fire extinguishers, duty lockers, plastic lockers and benches, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, data cabling and audio visual systems. Questions are due no later than 12:00 PM on May 3rd. Bonds required.
