Trades: Electrical Contractor - Lighting, Luminaires, High Voltage (HVE)
JEA is soliciting Bids for a General Contractor for the installation of a 4,160 Tie Circuit between Unit 7 and 8 the Kennedy Generating Station. (the “Work”) Electrical contractor scope includes, but is not limited to providing all tools, equipment, materials, and labor to install the following; • Three conductor 3600FT of MV cable circuit with a #2 insulated grounding conductor per set. Each parallel set conductor will be approximately 400FT long. Contractor shall provide all materials to terminate the cables at both ends. • Three 4”, 400FT RMC aluminum conduits as shown below. Conduits shall be installed, supported, and buried per NEC code. Underground conduit section shall be 4” schedule 40 PVC encased in 6” of concrete all around. • Three cantilever supports on the overhead water pipe rack shall be supported per the engineering design drawing to support additional conduit load. • Additionally, the Contract shall provide all materials to install control circuits to support the complete installation.
