Will be held Virtually. Please register for the pre-bid conference at https://www.alexandriava.gov/Purchasing. All schools shall receive one (1) site visit per bi-weekly cycle to perform the tasks described in C-4.2(D)(1–5) except for T.C. Williams HS. T.C. Williams HS shall receive two (2) site visits per bi-weekly cycle to perform the tasked described in C-4.2(D) (1–5). At T.C. Williams HS, each monthly cycle shall include two (2) bi-weekly site visits to perform the tasks described in 1 through 5 above. All other schools shall receive one (1) site visit per monthly cycle.
Commencing April 1st through October 31st, the Contractor shall perform bi-weekly landscape inspection and service which includes: 1. The removal of all of the weeds in all of the landscaped beds. 2. The pruning and shaping of all the shrubs as necessary depending upon the species, size, and growth habit of individual plants. Shrubs shall be pruned to provide at least six (6) inches of clearance above the ground and at least twelve (12) inches of clearance from adjacent buildings or other structures, if practicable. Services are anticipated for approximately fifteen (15) cycles, based upon fourteen (14) Calendar Days per cycle, over a period of approximately thirty (30) weeks. Commencing November 1st through March 31st, the Contractor shall perform monthly landscape inspection and service which includes: Services are anticipated for five (5) cycles, based upon one (1) month per cycle, over a period of five (5) months. Bid bond is required.
