The intent of this project is to demolish the existing Administration Building at Lanier Filter Plant, remove all materials associated with the building from the site, remediate risks from hazardous materials, dispose of all materials in a legal and safe manner, and reclaim the land that it currently occupies. The building was constructed in the mid-1970s. Chrysotile asbestos and lead paint have been identified within the building. The hazardous materials reports are included with the technical specification bid documents. The gateway canopy on the entrance road will also be demolished as part of this project.
