Prospective bidders are directed to meet at Laurel Park in front of
the restroom which is located at 8825 Jacmar Ave. After Laurel Park, we will meet at Guirado Park next to the handball courts which is located at 10121 Orange Drive. Masks are a must.

The work to be performed at Laurel Park (8825 Jacmar Avenue, Whittier, CA 90605) consists of: demolition of an existing restroom, wood planter, site preparation for the installation of a new pre-fabricated restroom (unit delivered by Public Restroom Company), sidewalk improvements, extending existing wet and dry utilities to serve the new restroom building, furnish and install new irrigation controller and re-establish irrigation system. The work to be performed at Guirado Park (10121 Orange Dr, Whittier, CA 90606) consists of: removal and disposal of existing handball courts as shown on the Demolition Exhibit and disposal of colored concrete and subbase down to a total of 13 inches below exiting elevations. Subbase should be graded at a 2% slope, sloping towards Orange Drive (south). All mater, all labor, materials, tools and equipment, and all incidental and appurtenant work necessary for the proper construction of the Laurel Park and Guirado Park Renovation project shall be in accordance with the project plans as specified hereinafter, project specifications as specified hereinafter for the City of Whittier, Los Angeles County, State of California, and in accordance with the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (Greenbook), 2018 Edition. Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, tools, materials, appliances, and equipment to complete the project and be responsible for obtaining no fee permits for the project from the City of Whittier, Building Division and the Department of Public Works. Contractor will be responsible to obtain a Demolition permit for both locations and will be required to submit recycled tickets before project can be completed.. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
