The Laurelwood Pump Station serves approximately 300 acres of urban watershed. The storm drain system consists of a gravity outfall and separate pump station outfall to Guadalupe River. The storm drain system operates in parallel and requires both the gravity outfall and pump station to meet system design capacity. In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to: demolition of the portions of the existing pump station structure and building, construction of new structures and building, demolition of mechanical and electrical equipment, and procuring and installing new mechanical and electrical equipment, and site improvements. Contractor shall be responsible for operation and maintenance of the pump station for a portion of the project duration. The project duration will include two local dry seasons and one local wet season with work restrictions based on time-of-year. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
