Trades: Doors and Door Services, Doors, Gates & Activating Devices - Install, Service & Repair

Scope of work: Removal of sixty-two (62) existing Airteq Rack & Pinion, 120-volt (VAC) motor driven corridor devices and furnishing and installing (62) new 120-volt (VAC) rack and pinion slider devices. New devices must fit in existing housing and available space. The new devices must be capable of being remotely operated by the existing Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) which is made by Omron and have an electric key override, locally at each device (keyed on 2 sides). The new devices must reuse the existing paracentric keyway to enable the emergency release handle as a means to unlock the door manually in the event of a loss of power. Leon County anticipates the reuse of the paracentric manual override mechanisms, mogul electric key switches, doors, glass, and existing conduit and wiring. The scope of work will include cutting down and removing the existing devices and prepping the existing openings to receive the new sliding devices, hinged housings, door hangers and guides, receivers and lock columns utilizing the existing doors. Project will be completed in 3 phases and will take place over a three (3) year period beginning in 2022 and lasting through 2024. Leon County will take responsibility of re caulking and finish painting the doors but expect new material to be primed. Questions via email to Owner by 6/3/2022, 5:00pm. Bonds required.
