The Letchworth State Park Visitor Center, Conference Room, 1 Letchworth State Park, Castile NY 14427.
General Construction work will entail the rehabilitation of the interiors and exteriors of the cabins and central comfort station, including the salvage and reuse of interior wood paneling, new partition construction, fabrication of built-in furnishings and general repair of finishes. Electrical work includes selective demolition of the existing electrical supply system and installation of buried electrical utilities, selective demolition of electrical systems within the building and installation of new wiring, lighting and associated elements in both the cabins and comfort station. Plumbing work includes selective demolition of piping and fixtures within the cabins and comfort stations and the installation of new piping, fixtures for full bathrooms and kitchens. Site/Civil work includes selective demolition of existing septic and water supply systems and the construction of new septic tanks and leach fields, water lines and associated elements, repair of the existing roadway loop, landscaping and grading at the site. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
