The proposed work is roadway improvements are located between Gary Road to the west and Indigo Sky Boulevard to the east approximately 45,717 linear feet, Magma Road at 4,781 linear feet and Indigo Sky Boulevard 936 at linear feet. The work consists of new roadway and drainage improvements including removals, grading, asphalt concrete (AC) paving, aggregate base course (ABC), curb and gutter, sidewalk, sidewalk ramps, One - lane roundabout, pre-cast arch culvert, decomposed granite, catch basins, retention basins, dumped rip-rap, traffic signing, pavement markings, solar street lighting and traffic control with minor modifications and other related work. The project includes that Magma Road will be extended from Indigo Sky Boulevard west to the intersection of Edwards Road (currently a dirt road). The proposed alignment is bordered on the north by a drainage channel which feeds into a large basin northeast of the intersection of Indigo Sky Boulevard, followed by residential. The south side of the alignment is currently native desert. There is a concrete box culvert where Indigo Sky Boulevard crosses the drainage channel. This intersection will be replaced with a new roundabout over a new precast concrete arched drainage structure. An existing water well site is located just northeast of the intersection of Edwards Road and will continue west to Gary Road. All Work shall commence within ten (10) calendar days from the issuance date of the written "Notice to Proceed" and be completed within Two Hundred (200) calendar days from the issuance date of the written "Notice to Proceed." Deadline for questions is January 19, 2021 by 5:00pm.
