The Work to be done under this contract consists of tree planting, watering and tree establishment maintenance work and will be issued on an as-needed basis for work at various locations in San Francisco. The Work may include, but not limited to, preparation and construction of sidewalk tree basins, procurement and selection of plant stock, installation of trees in the public right of way, finishing tree basins with soil and amendments, tree staking and guying, installation of tree protection, and periodic watering and weeding throughout the tree establishment period. The work is performed on an as-needed” basis in accordance with the San Francisco Administrative Code Section 6.64(b) requirements. Contractors who can demonstrate experience, expertise and quality of work may be awarded a master agreement for a term of up to two years and not to exceed amount of up to $1,000,000. The Contract Term may be extended up to 5 years to complete the work of issued CSOs, but no new CSOs. Contractors interested in being awarded a master agreement must submit a cover letter requesting a master agreement for Master As-Needed Tree Planting and Watering Services with the completed RFQ Submittal Package that demonstrates their experience, expertise and quality of work. Submit the information to: San Francisco Public Works Contract Administration 1155 Market Street San Francisco, CA 94103. 730 consecutive calendar days. DBE/LBE requirements apply. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
