This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is a written request for the submission of a statement of qualifications from local professional construction firms for the purpose of establishing a master list of qualified on-call general contractors to assist the Facilities Division on future City of Sacramento facility projects. For the purposes of this RFQ, the master list of qualified on-call general contractors will be solicited to assist the facilities staff in delivering projects using a variety of delivery methods, including design build, design assist and standard bid / build. Projects may include, but are not limited to public buildings and facilities, public safety facilities, community centers, libraries, park facilities, pools, corporation yards, and offsite improvements. It is anticipated that the City will utilize general contractor construction services on projects where construction budgets are estimated between $250,0000 to $900,000. Appropriate contract and council approvals will be required prior to execution of the work and at the discretion of Facilities Division Manager.
