The Work in this Contract consists of: 1. Removal and replacement of CPVC piping, fittings and valves in the South, North and Pre-Bleach Containment areas from pump skids to proposed tubing transition points as shown on contract documents. 2. Removal and replacement of CPVC containment and carrier piping in existing trenches in the South, North, and Pre-Bleach area’s with new CPVC containment piping, installation of carrier tubing, and installation of the bleach leak detection system. 3. Removal of existing CPVC bleach piping in Filters 3, 4, and 5. Existing piping in filter areas to be replaced with CPVC containment piping and FEP carrier tubing. 4. Removal and replacement of Pre-Filter Bleach Distribution Panel for Filters 3, 4 and 5. Removal and replacement shall include all flow meters, static mixer, valves and fittings and electrical components. 5. Removal of existing concrete trench with steel grating in the South Bleach area and replaced with prefabricated Plastibeton trench. 6. All existing trenches to have debris cleaned out of them, pressure washed, and refurbished as identified. 7. Electrical, instrumentation and SCADA work. 8. Complete restoration of all existing areas affected by project. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
