Lee County Board of County Commissioners seeks to contract with a qualified CONTRACTOR to provide the excavation to restore navigable access to Northeast Hurricane Bay Channel of uniform width and depth as shown on the Contract Plans. The WORK covered by this section consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, transportation, fuel, power and water, and performing all operations in connection with excavating, transporting, and placing approximately 6,100 cubic yards of sand, silt and shell from the Northeast Hurricane Bay Channel to the upland disposal site and providing environmental protection measures to meet the requirements of the technical specifications and permits. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
