The work at the athletic field involves improvements for four (4) athletic fields as well as site lighting and security. The improvements for the athletic fields involves grading for two (2) football fields and two (2) soccer fields, new goal posts and goals, new benches, new hose bibs, and new turf seeding and meadow seeding outside the limits of the athletic fields. The project will also involve permanent inlet protection on the existing inlets throughout the site, trimming and pruning of existing trees, and the installation of electric and fiber optic conduit for the lighting and security cameras that will be installed on six (6) pedestal poles located throughout the site. The work at the stadium involves improvements to the stadium bleachers, the restroom facilities, the announcer’s booth, the existing scoreboard, new lighting and security, and the complete demolition of an existing garage. Work on the stadium bleachers includes the cleaning of all aluminum bleacher planks and the replacement of any damaged or wooden planks to provide a new and uniform bleacher. The existing handrails will be painted as part of the lead paint abatement on the site. The concrete bleachers will also be repaired to correct for damage from water intrusion and to prevent future water intrusion. Bidders must be prequalified prior to bidding by the School District of Philadelphia. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
