Scope Summary Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is soliciting proposals for a licensed General Contractor to provide construction services for a replacement facility for Goodlettsville Elementary. The site is located at 514 Donald Ave, Goodlettsville, TN 37072 and includes 11.9 acres of site development and 81,750 SF in a two story building. Construction shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, construction equipment and machinery, water, heat utilities, transportation, insurance, taxes, superintendence, coordination and miscellaneous services required for the construction and completion of the Work, whether temporary or permanent and whether or not incorporated or to be incorporated into the Work. This Project is seeking US Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED Silver certification. The Contractor shall be familiar with the LEED v4 for Schools New Construction and Major Renovations regarding all material and resource credits. Products and installation methods shall be chosen to maximize this LEED effort. The Contractor shall fully adhere to all procedures and be fully involved with all filings and submittals as required by USGBC to insure compliance with USGBC requirements to obtain the Silver (minimum) rating for this project. Time is of the essence, and if awarded the resulting Contract, the Offeror shall provide all of the labor, materials, equipment, and services required to complete the Work of this Project on or before March 15, 2023.
