Town’s Water Treatment Plant, 79 Pine Tree Drive, Hamilton, MA, 01936. Bidders and sub-bidders planning to attend shall contact Tim Olson, DPW Director by phone (978-626-5227) or e-mail (tolson@hamiltonma.gov) no later than 12:00 noon, September 29th, 2021.

Estimate: $2,700,000

The scope of work includes the construction of a new GAC pre-treatment facility to be installed adjacent to the existing Idlewood Wellfield Water Treatment Plant. The new facility will include a new pre-engineered metal building, concrete foundation, four (4) granular activated carbon adsorption vessels, process piping, instrumentation and control equipment, heating/ventilation, electrical systems, site preparation, connections to existing water main, and all appurtenant work. The work also includes demolition and alterations to the existing water treatment plant including the relocation and replacement of an existing louver with motorized damper, and connections to the plant’s existing backwash system piping.
