The project site is located in Glassell Park approximately a mile northeast of the intersection of Eagle Rock Boulevard and San Fernando Road in a residential hillside area. At the site, the southern or downslope side of the street has settled. This project will restore lateral support to Nordica Drive by constructing an approximately 70-foot long bulkhead constructed of steel I-beam soldier piles and pre-cast concrete lagging panels. In addition, the project also includes the installation of a metal beam guardrail, curb and gutters on both sides of the street, and resurfacing a section of Nordica Dr. Only the following can bid this: Calex Engineering, Clarke Contracting, Hayward Baker, Inc., Jilk Heavy Construction, Inc., Kiewit Infrastructure West Co., Los Angeles Engineering, Mike Prlich & Sons, Inc., Mladen Buntich Construction Company, & PPC Construction, Inc. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
