In general, the successful contractor will be required to tear off and replace the existing roof with new insulation and a TPO membrane. The Project also includes the replacement of the HVAC system and associated electrical, fire alarm, low voltage trades, as well as other miscellaneous work noted in the construction documents (“Contract Documents”). The requirements for construction of the Project and the duties and responsibilities of the contractor whose Proposal is accepted (“Successful Contractor”) are set forth in the Contract Documents, which include the Instructions to Proposers; the Contract for Construction and Incorporated General Conditions (the “Contract”); any supplementary and other conditions; the drawings; the specifications; and any addenda issued by the Architect.
