Citrus County, Florida (“County”) invites interested parties to submit a Bid to provide complete construction of the Northwest Quadrant Water Main Extension Project to include 1,953 feet of 18" ductile iron, 14,336 feet of 10” PVC, and 14,691 feet of 8" PVC along with fire hydrants, valves, and Right of Way (ROW) restoration along US 19, W. Ashburn Lane and N. Williams Avenue north of Crystal River, Florida. All work shall be in accordance with the construction plans, special provisions, and contract documents. Included in these specifications is a geotechnical report conducted by Geo-tech Engineering Consultants and a subsurface utility report conducted by George F. Young, Inc. for this project. Also included is a geotechnical report from Madrid Engineering Group, Inc. and a subsurface utility report from George F. Young, Inc. for the NW Quadrant Wastewater Extension project which is proposed to be constructed along much of the same corridor. These reports are intended to assist the contractor in the estimation of existing utility lines present and the limerock encroachment possible that will need to be excavated and removed in the project area. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
