The Contract Services shall include, at a minimum, the following: 1. The demolition and removal of twelve (12) of the existing odor control systems from the WWTP, as appropriate. The B7 odor control vessel has already been demolished. 2. The design and construction of the Project in accordance with the Technical and General Design Requirements included as Appendix E hereto and to be finalized and agreed upon by the RCSD and the Company, including construction of thirteen (13) new Odor Control Systems and various heating and ventilation system improvements. 3. All services inclusive of, but not limited to, the following: civil, environmental, architectural, electrical, structural, and mechanical design services as required for the Project; construction management services inclusive of budgeting, value engineering, scheduling, project administration and management/coordination of Subcontractors. 4. An integrated schedule for the Contract Services, including the proposed date for Substantial Completion, Acceptance, and Final Completion. 5. Project and Project Site security, safety, and protection of property and materials. 6. Permit preparation, application, and acquisition. The Company shall be responsible for obtaining and paying the cost for all necessary and required governmental permits, approvals, licenses, and authorizations to complete the Project, if any. 7. Design services for the Project and document preparation including schematic design, design development and shop drawings. 8. Cost estimating in sufficient detail to allow the RCSD to understand the breakdown by each individual design and construction item. 9. Construction administration, management, field observation, testing, and inspection during construction. 10. The furnishing of all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to design and build all improvements, including material and equipment acquisition (including incorporation of long-lead time items, if any). 11. Construction inspection and quality control (including any material testing required). 12. System start-up and Acceptance Testing and shakedown troubleshooting as appropriate to furnish the RCSD with fully functioning systems. 13. Preparation of Record Drawings and other Project commissioning/closeout requirements. 14. Training, as appropriate, on new systems, features and controls. The scope of work included herein is not intended to be all inclusive, but instead defines the RCSD’s minimum expectations and requirements. The Company will be required to perform all duties supplementary to the preparation of a design, construction cost estimate and construction of the Project including start-up and Acceptance Testing. The RCSD reserves the right to modify the scope of services at any time before execution of a Design-Build Agreement to add, delete, or otherwise amend any item(s), as it deems necessary, in its sole judgment, and in the best interest of the RCSD. Bond required. Please refer to documents for wage rate. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
