Trades: Landscaping Contractor: Grounds Maintenance, Clearing, Grubbing, Fertilizing, Mowing, Planting, Trimming, Rooting, Mulching
The Monroe County Board of Commissioners is hereby requesting sealed proposals for Grounds-Keeping at Monroe County Courthouse Square and Monroe County Administration Building. Requirements will be as follows: • Must have valid Pesticides Contractors License or contract out with a company/person(s) that have valid Pesticides Contractors License • Must submit at least three recent references (name, address, and phone numbers) • Must submit at least two current Commercial Projects (name, address, and phone numbers) • Must provide proof of Liability and Workman’s Compensation Insurance. Terms of the Contract will be as follows: • Proposal shall reflect a monthly fee which includes all labor, pine straw, herbicides, flowers, and fertilizer to be used at both sites. Contractor will be paid the same amount each month, therefore, contractor should prorate all materials and labor into a monthly fee. • Contract will be for one (1) year. • The County reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time if the terms of the contract are not honored or requirements are not completed to the County’s satisfaction.
