The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for on call small construction work at various locations within Division 4, District 3 in Johnston & Wayne Counties. The date of availability for this contract is July 1, 2022. The completion date for this contract is June 30, 2023. Any firm that wishes to perform work on Division Purchase Order Contracts as either the prime contractor or as a subcontractor on the project must be prequalified for the type of work they wish to perform. Firms that wish to bid on these projects as the prime contractor must be prequalified as a Bidder or PO Prime Contractor prior to submitting your bid. Firms that wish to perform as a subcontractor to the prime contractor must be prequalified prior to beginning work on the project. Information regarding prequalification can be found at: https://connect.ncdot.gov/business/Prequal/Pages/default.aspx Performance & Payment bonds may be required. If the anticipated MBE/WBE participation is zero, the Contractor shall make an effort to recruit and use MBE / WBEs during the performance of the contract.
