The courthouse campus is composed of three buildings (a, b, and c). The 14th floor scope is in the center tower. The existing 14th floor is a shell space. This project scope of work is limited to the build out of eight (8) judge chambers. Every chamber consists of a judge room which includes a private restroom, judicial assistance, and a small breakroom, four (4) clerk offices, two (2) conference rooms, two (2) hearing rooms, a waiting/lobby area with a direct access to the conference and hearing rooms, and separate restrooms for employees and the public. The scope will include mechanical, electrical, fire protection, technology, security, finishes and furniture. Submission of an original Bid Bond (copy not acceptable) completed and signed by all required parties and submitted on the form provided in Exhibit 1 to the Bid Proposal (Part D), or in the alternative, a Certified Check, or a Cashier's Check shall be required to accompany each bid proposal in a stated dollar amount of not less than ten (10%) percent of the sum of the computed total amount of the Bidder's Base Bid proposal. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
