Package A consists of the installation of the Southwest Service Area Potable Water Storage and Repump Facility (SWSA SRF) and will be located at 10255 Avalon Road, Winter Garden, Florida 34787. This facility will include a 3.5 million gallon (MG) potable water storage tank, and an Operations Building housing a high service potable water re-pumping (pressure boosting) station with variable speed pumps, electrical, instrumentation and controls (I&C) including SCADA, an emergency power generator and fuel day tank. The Project also includes potable water mains, a valve and flow meter station, and miscellaneous appurtenances outside the building. The facility also includes 30-inch potable water suction and discharge mains, power service, telephone service, and fiberoptic cable that run from the Avalon Road ROW through easements and enter the west side of the property. Stormwater will discharge to an existing stormwater pond located adjacent to the site. Refer to Section 01010 for additional description of the SWSA SRF. Package B consists of the installation of the Avalon Road Master Pump Station (MPS) and will be located at 10247 Avalon Road, Winter Garden, Florida 34787. This station will provide wastewater service to a portion of west Orange County in the Southwest Service Area. It is anticipated that the dual wetwell pump station will include 6 pumps (three 1,000 gallons per minute (gpm) pumps in each wetwell), odor control, an electrical building, instrumentation and controls (I&C) including SCADA, diesel generator, forcemains, valve and meter station, manholes, sewers, retaining walls, perimeter wall, and traffic gate. One pump shall be considered standby; therefore, the pump station will have a firm design pumping capacity of 5,000 gallons per minute.
