The work consists of installing, modifying, inspecting, testing, and making operational replacement highway-railroad crossing warning systems for SacRT at existing crossing locations. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: installing 108 owner-furnished Western Cullen Hayes 3597 gate mechanisms at various locations as shown in Plans and described in the Technical Specifications and specified by the manufacturer. complete with wiring, miscellaneous hardware, testing, traffic control, disposal of existing equipment all as needed to complete the work. Questions are due by 11:59 PM on July 16th. Project duration is 180 calendar days. SacRT has established the following participation goals for SBEs and LBEs for this Contract: 25% of the total Bid Price for SBE work 25% of the total Bid Price for LBE work Bonds required.
