The Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County, Maryland (hereafter referred to as HOC) is soliciting bids from qualified Plumbing Contractors, who have a State of Maryland Master Plumber/Gas Fitter license, who are registered with WSSC as a Master Plumber, and who are insured to conduct business within the State of Maryland to provide repairs, maintenance (both regular and preventive), installation, extension and alteration of systems and control components which provide water and gas to the properties and remove liquid or water-borne wastes from the premises. Work may be performed on interior or exterior systems as necessary. The work may also include clearing and cleaning septic systems and tanks at certain properties in accordance with all applicable codes. It may also include repairing or replacing damaged underground water supply or waste lines. Work shall be performed in single family, townhouse, multi-family, garden, mid-rise and high-rise dwelling units located throughout Montgomery County, MD, and may include other related work as defined by the Housing Opportunities Commission. Units may be occupied or vacant during the course of the work. Where soil is disturbed, a comparable and appropriate ground cover such as sod, seed, or mulch will be replaced. Where concrete, flooring or hard surfaces are disturbed, those surfaces will also be replaced with like material. The term of this Contract shall be for a period of One (1) year from date of award, and shall be renewable for up to four (4) additional one-year periods from the date of Contract Award. The deadline for all questions to be answered is September 28, 2022 at 12:00 PM. Bonds required.
