Renovation of the Police Department located at 100 N. Perry Street. The renovation requires a phased approach and includes but is not limited to, relocating locker rooms, additional office space, additional restrooms and quiet space, reworking the lobby bathrooms for ADA compliance, additional prosecutors office, vestibule and Dais work in the Municipal Court area. The construction services for this work shall include but not be limited to: • Manage all construction activities while constructing the designed improvements as per plans. • Construct temporary wall/doors as requested for security purposes, push button locksets will be provided and installed by Town Staff • Procure long lead time construction components such as specialized Police load out lockers, locker room lockers and ADA lift for Courtroom Dais. • Coordinate a phased approach for the construction and coordinate all work as to create a flow and most efficient way for productivity. • Contractor shall devote adequate resources to assure timely completion of all project phases in a sequence that does not interrupt the overall schedule. Create a safe and secure work environment for both the Police Department employees as well as the individuals working on-site. • Attend weekly Owner, Architect, and Contractor (OAC) meetings. • Extreme caution shall be taken not to damage existing flooring, walls and other items not included in the scope of work. Final completion by May 2023. Questions due 8/3/22. Bonds required.
