The Southwest Service Area Potable Water Storage and Repump Facility includes the installation of a 3.5 million gallon potable water storage tank and an operations building housing a high service potable water re-pumping (pressure boosting) station with variable speed pumps, electrical, instrumentation and controls including SCADA, an emergency power generator and fuel day tank. The project also includes potable water mains, a valve, flower meter station, manholes, wastewater and storm sewers, fencing and gate. The Avalon Master Pump Station includes the installation of a dual wet well pump station with six pumps, odor control, an electrical building, and all other items specified herein. This project encourages M/WBE participation. Bonds required. Please see the documents for details about wage rates.
