Fairfax County is soliciting pre-qualifications of for the Savile Lane Pump Station Rehabilitation. The Savile Lane Pump Station Rehabilitation is located at 1100 Savile Lane, McLean, VA 22101 in the Fairfax County’s Dranesville District. Upgrades inside the station shall include pump and discharge piping replacement; instrumentation and controls system upgrades; and electrical, architectural, structural, HVAC and safety improvements. Exterior improvements shall include roof replacement and building component rehabilitation, installation of external stairs to provide access to/from the wet well, equipment loading system upgrades, a force main bypass pumping connection and access vault, site access and surface stabilization improvements. All work is to be done while maintaining continuous pumping operations throughout the project. Anticipated construction start of June 2021. The overall construction duration is planned to be 300 calendar days.
