Lift Station No. 26 (LS 26) is located at the northeast corner of 45th Street and N. Flagler Drive in Gettler Park. It was built in the 1980's. The station is currently a triplex station equipped with a valve vault, wetwell, and submersible type pumps. The City plans to use the existing pumps in the new lift station configuration. The station serves the surrounding areas through a network of gravity sewers. All flow conveyed to LS 26 is pumped into a twelve (12) inch forcemain and subsequently into a downstream gravity sewer system. The project includes improvements to the gravity collection system including the modification of the receiving manhole, which will receive all gravity wastewater prior to discharge to the new wet well. The average daily flow to LS 26 is approximately 0.41 million gallons per day (MGD). This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
